HR Conclave on “The Future of HR Powered by AI” at KLE Tech University

The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), North Karnataka Chapter, in association with the School of Management Studies & Research, KLE Technological University, Hubballi, is organizing an HR Conclave titled “The Future of HR Powered by AI” on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

The event will be held at the MBA Seminar Hall, SMSR, KLE Technological University, Hubballi, and will bring together HR professionals, industry leaders, academicians, and students to deliberate on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management.

The conclave will feature eminent speakers Mr. Anjan A, Vice President – HR Talent Management & Development, Northern Trust, and Mr. Lalit Suresh, Global Head – Learning and Development, Torry Harris Integration Solutions, who will share insights on AI in Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Performance Management & Workforce Analytics and Employee Engagement & Experience.

KLE Tech Signs LoU with Dvera Holdings

On 12th November 2025, KLE Technological University took a significant step toward social impact by signing a Letter of Understanding with Dvera Holdings. Dvera Holdings, a mission-driven organization, focuses on advancing financial inclusion through innovation and technology-based solutions. To date, they have enabled over USD 26 billion in finance, positively impacting more than 125 million lives across India.

This partnership aims to support innovative research and knowledge sharing through finance, technology, and social impact initiatives—particularly in rural wealth management, agriculture, dairy, healthcare, and the gig economy. PRAVRUTTI – the National Tech Fest hosted by Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, witnessed an exceptional showcase of innovation and technical talent from the 3rd Semester Automation and Robotics students of KLE Technological University.
In the highly competitive Robo Climb Competition, Team Alpha Crew — comprising Amogh N Betageri, Nisha N Gowda, Ananya Kumtakar, and Pavanashree Kamat — secured First Place, winning a prize of ₹20,000 for their outstanding execution and precision.
Meanwhile, Team Grind Squad — Nandita Nirvanashetti, Srushti Badnur, Allam Velangini Srija, and Shidhant Randewadi — achieved Second Place, earning ₹15,000.
These achievements stand as strong examples of teamwork and innovation, reflecting the emerging talent that is shaping the future of robotics in India.

Data Science and AI in Astronomy and Astrophysics (Talk by Dr. Ajit Kembhavi)

On 30th September, KLE Technological University hosted an inspiring talk by eminent astrophysicist Dr. Ajit Kembhavi, former Director of the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune.

Dr. Prakash Tewari, Vice Chancellor of KLE Tech, and Dr. Uma Mudenagudi, Dean R&D, felicitated Dr. Kembhavi to mark the beginning of the much-anticipated event.

The auditorium soon fell silent as Dr. Kembhavi delivered a captivating talk on how Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are transforming modern astronomy and reshaping our understanding of the universe. He began with an analogy comparing an AI facility in China—which he recently visited—to KLE Tech’s own infrastructure, expressing optimism about India’s future in technology and innovation.

He explained AI fundamentals such as algorithms, neural networks, transformers, generative AI, and large language models with remarkable clarity. Visual diagrams helped the audience understand Artificial Neural Networks and Convolutional Neural Networks before he shifted focus to the interplay between astronomy and massive datasets used to decode galaxies, star systems, and black holes.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Kembhavi encouraged students to embrace AI as a self-driven journey and remain curious.

The session concluded with a Q&A and closing notes from Prof. B. L. Desai, Executive Dean, who highlighted the significance of the discussion.
It was a memorable morning filled with science, technology, and profound insights.

InCUB8, the flagship event of NITK Surathkal, saw an outstanding performance from Team MakeinBVB of KLE Tech, who secured prizes in six out of eight competitions.

Guided by the KLE Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE), the team achieved:

  • 1st Place – Pitch Dunk A business consultancy challenge with 40 teams competing. KLE Tech secured the top position through a strong strategic solution.
  • 2nd Place – Case Link Competing against 100+ teams, the students showcased analytical and creative excellence.
  • 2nd Place – Anunada Recognized for innovation by generating music from waste.
KLE Tech also received a Consolation Prize in Arambh for impactful early-stage ideas.

At the Startup Expo, Ayush Kabbur’s ‘Offix’ was honored as the Best Problem-Solving Startup.

In the Pitch to VC event, Siddhant Rolli’s venture ranked among the Top 8 nationally, securing direct mentorship from venture capitalists.

These achievements highlight KLE Tech students’ creativity, intellect, and innovation-driven mindset.

Euro’s Racing (M-Baja) Achieves Milestone at SAE M-Baja 2025

The Euro’s Racing (M-Baja) team from KLE Technological University delivered an outstanding performance at the SAE M-Baja 2025 competition held in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh (January 9–13, 2025).

Achievements:
  • 2nd Place – Endurance Event
  • 5th Place Overall (AIR 5) — highest rank in team history
Highlights:
  • The team of 16 students included only three with prior experience.
  • They completed 31 laps in 4 hours without a single breakdown, demonstrating exceptional engineering quality.
  • This year marked their first-ever Top-5 national finish, surpassing last year’s AIR 9.
  • Their success reflects innovation, discipline, and KLE Tech’s strong ecosystem that fosters engineering excellence.
